The Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Chicago (PACCGC) hosted the FPACC (Federation of Philippine American Chambers of Commerce) 2019 National/International Business Conference last November 8-10 2019 at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois.
The main purpose of the event was to promote and develop trade and commerce while also providing an opportunity for members to network and establish relationships between community and government leaders.
The event was attended by Philippine Ambassador to the United States, H.E. Jose Manuel Romualdez, who discussed various economic and business concerns with the participants. During his keynote address, the Ambassador shared the good news about the Philippine’s rapid and sustainable economic growth, which is one of the fastest in Asia. He also delved into the $175B Build, Build, Build infrastructure initiative of the Duterte Administration. He encouraged business executives to take a closer look at the Philippines as a blue-chip destination for foreign direct investments (FDI’s), and a top source of high-quality, value-for-money goods.
